Grilled Cake & Fruit

This is quickly becoming our favorite summertime dessert. We use whatever fruit we buy at the local Farmer’s Market that week.

1 home-made or purchased pound cake, sliced
fresh fruit, (peaches, nectarines, apples, oranges, pineapple, plums, mango), halved or sliced as necessary
Mansmith’s Cinnamon Stuff
whipped cream or whipped topping
Over medium-low heat, grill the fruit until it just begins to soften and the grill marks look good. Remove to a platter. Sprinkle generously with Cinnamon Stuff. Grill the sliced pound cake until warm and grill marks form, don’t burn it. Let everyone make their own dessert by choosing their favorite fruit. Top with whipped cream.
