Butters' Family Texas Brisket

5-7 pound beef brisket
1 medium onion
2 stalks celery
1 ½ C. beef broth or beer
1 C. water
2 Tbsp. Mansmith’s Original Grilling Spice
1 Tbsp. Mansmith’s Dry Fire

 

Combine the Original Grilling Spice and the Dry Fire in a small bowl. Apply to the brisket. Cover and refrigerate for several hours. Place the brisket in a crock pot with the onion, celery and liquid. Cook on low setting for 8 hours or until the meat is very tender.
